Cookies and similar storage

Alfred uses browser storage to remember your privacy choices. Optional analytics can help us understand how people use this website. You can use the public website without allowing optional analytics.

Remembering your choice

We store your analytics preference and the date of your choice in your browser. This setting lasts for up to 180 days, after which we ask you to choose again. Clearing your browser storage also clears your saved choice. Your choice applies to the browser and device where you made it.

Optional analytics

Analytics starts only after you choose Analytics only or Allow all. Depending on the website's configuration, we may use Google Analytics, PostHog, or Microsoft Clarity to understand page visits and interactions. These services may use cookies or similar technologies. Choosing Essential only keeps these optional analytics services off.

Optional advertising measurement

Choosing Allow all also allows Google Ads and LinkedIn advertising measurement. These help us understand which ads lead to completed Finance enquiries and Marketing plan selections that continue to signup. A plan selection is an interim action, not a completed signup. Analytics only does not enable these services. After advertising consent, we use a session-storage flag to avoid counting the same Marketing plan-selection action repeatedly in one browser tab session; it is cleared when advertising consent is withdrawn. LinkedIn Insight Tag receives page URLs, referrers, IP addresses, browser and device information, and timestamps, and may use cookies and advertising click identifiers. Its Website Actions feature may also collect button text, page names, click or view actions, and a session identifier. LinkedIn may connect this information to a LinkedIn member and use it to personalise ads under its own privacy policy and member settings. Alfred does not send form answers, names, emails, or phone numbers through these conversion events. We do not enable enhanced matching that sends contact details, or create website retargeting audiences through this setup. Google ad personalisation remains disabled. Facebook and Twitter advertising tags are not included.

Changing your choice

Choose Consent preferences in the footer to review or change your choice at any time. Choosing Analytics only disables advertising measurement while retaining analytics. Choosing Essential only disables both. We stop sending new conversion events and discard queued events when the relevant permission is withdrawn. If the LinkedIn tag has started, the page reloads to stop its running code. Save unfinished form text before changing this choice. Data already sent cannot be recalled by this control. We ask for a fresh choice when adding a new advertising provider; a previous Google-only permission does not enable LinkedIn. You can also clear existing cookies and website data in your browser settings.
